Thank you to the UW Varsity Women’s Soccer Team

This year I had the honour of being an assistant coach for the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team at the University of Waterloo. The varsity program at the University of Waterloo has a special place in my heart. I was fortunate to be a member of this team myself for 5 years, and the captain for my last two years. Being part of this program shaped my university experience in a very positive way. My teammates and coaches instilled in me the value of commitment, dedication, and hard work. Being a part of the varsity family helped me grow as a person and gain confidence to achieve my future goals in school, work, and sport. I was beyond thrilled to see that these values are still being upheld by the athletes and coaches at the University of Waterloo. I was inspired by the work rate, intensity, and passion that the athletes put forth at each and every practice and game. This season the standings did not accurately reflect the quality of football that these athletes played. I could not be more proud to have been part of this season. Thanks to the athletes and coaches for having me on board! I’m already looking forward to next season!
