All Green Smoothie
(with thanks to the Vitamix Whole Food Recipe book)
½ cup water
½ cup pineapple juice
1 ½ cups green grapes
¼ Bartlett pear
¼ to ½ avocado, peeled pitted
1 broccoli floret
½ cup fresh spinach, washed
1 cup ice cubes
1. Place all ingredients into Vitamix (or the blender of your choice) in the order listed and secure lid.
2. Turn machine on at lower speed, then increase to high speed.
3. Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.
This recipe will yield 3 cups. Each cup has 124 calories, 2g protein, 3g total fat, 26g carbs.
